WHS Class of 2012

WHS Class of 2012
December 7, 2011 will be the 70th anniversary of that tragic day when the United States was attacked by Japan and entered World War II. During the war the United States played a vital role in liberating Europe from Nazi Germany and defeating Japan in the Pacific. Over 600 men and women who attended WHS served in the military during the years World War II was being fought. Those men and women served in every branch of the military, were stationed in all parts of the world, performed the various jobs that keep the military machine running, and participated in every major military engagement the United States was involved in. The citizens of Westminster also made sacrifices and that included the students at Westminster High. The purpose of this calendar is to honor the students of Westminster High who put their lives on hold and went off to serve their country during the war and all the people who stayed here at home and endured the sacrifices that were required from ordinary citizens during the war. All proceeds will be used to for a memorial marker at WHS for the students who fought in World War II and especially those that were killed during the war.

Orders will be taken through December 11th. After this time all orders will be consolidated and produced. Delivery should take place prior to Christmas. Delivery options for the calendar are: US Postal Service or there will be a scheduled pick up date/time at Westminster High that will be communicated.
